Living in a world full of digital and virtual realities, artist Boyan Marinov feels the necessity to find ways to get back to the simple things. His purpose is to make art that fullfills his longing for what really matters.

For as long as Boyan can remember, he's been painting, carving, disassembling, modifying and building things just to satisfy his need for personal expression. One day he realized that what he created needed to be shared with people because what was meaningful for him, spoke to others too. And his work didn't need fancy words to explain, yet it touched people's hearts.

Boyan prefers working with wood and metal for the warm feel of the wood and the cold beauty of the metal.
